It turns out that my mother's insurance only covers the exam, and not any of the glasses they have available. When asked for the PD they refused to give it to her. Although it's not a legal requirement for the office to provide this measurement, it comes off as really grubby to refuse the measurement upon request - knowing the circumstances.<br><br>Update:<br>The owner claiming that my mother was offered covered options is a bold face lie. They did not offer her any options at all, which is why not providing the PD is so frustrating.

They will perform exams not covered by your insurance without communicating this to you and make you pay for tests you didn't agree to.

I have been going here for at least 15 years and every single visit has been wonderful! I have been seeing her every 6 months now and I look forward to it every time. Today we brought my son for his first appointment and he had such a great experience. She spoke to him , (not at him (which I truly appreciate as he is old enough to understand the process of his exam)) and us (the parents) making him feel very comfortable. She gave him opportunities to ask questions and she responded professionally and at his level. She told us step by step what she was doing and the reasons for the different tests. The front staff were also great. Nothing but great things to say about this place. Thank you for your excellent service.<br><br>My son's review is 5 starts and said "she is very nice and answers a lot of questions."
