  Pros: Great staff, large window, spacious room.<br><br>Cons:<br>The building's insulation is poor. You can feel cold drafts coming from the windows in the winter, and the power went out multiple times during freezing weather. In my 10+ years of living in New York/New Jersey, this is the first building that couldn't handle the cold winter. The hallways lack AC, and the walls are paper-thin--you can easily hear your neighbors talking at a normal volume. While not a dealbreaker on its own, it speaks to the building's overall poor quality and cheap design.<br><br>This building is not smoke-free. Because the lease doesn't explicitly ban smoking, residents frequently smoke cigarettes and marijuana on their balconies, which carries into neighboring apartments. You will smell it in your bedroom, bathroom, elevators, and outdoor space daily.<br><br>The commute to NYC is frustrating. The bus gets caught in heavy traffic in the morning, the ferry doesn't run on weekends.<br><br>The view is just o

  We genuinely loved Portside.<br>Its location is truly exceptional, with beautiful Hudson River and Manhattan skyline views, as well as shops, restaurants, and transportation within easy walking distance. The rooftop and riverfront spaces made the setting even more special, and the surrounding neighborhood felt friendly and welcoming.<br>Above all, the people were at the heart of our experience. We are especially grateful to Colette Daibes, who is a truly wonderful person. Her leadership, warmth, personal attention, and genuine care for residents made a lasting impression. We are also very grateful to Sue Sue Pellegrino for her leadership and all her support. The 24-hour concierge and maintenance teams were always helpful as well.<br>We left only because we relocated out of state; otherwise, we would have gladly remained. I wholeheartedly recommend Portside to anyone looking for an exceptional place to call home.

  Amazing building & staff! had a pleasure living here the views, finishes and everything is absolutely top notch and incredible! if you are looking to rent in edgewater make this your first option you wont regret it

  This building is so beautiful and has the best views with the best staff! Colette and her team have been lovely to work with and we are so sad that our move had to get cut short due to moving out of state for family reasons. If we ever move back to this area, we will definitely be inquiring about Portside Drive... It has been a pleasure to live here!

  Absolutely love PORTSIDE! Management is so kind and helped me invite my family into a suite that was visiting. I also have a friend and a family member that live there and it's so peaceful and the view is stunning on the balcony! Building is so clean and valet is so kind. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

  A wonderful luxury building to call home. The location is perfect, the units have incredible views of the best city in the world, and there's easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the ferry. The building is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff are super friendly and helpful.
