  I needed to get out of a lease that had raised my rent too high and added a 90-day non-renewal notice requirement. This made it very difficult to actually find someone who would work with me, since I wanted to have an apartment lined up before submitting my non-renewal. I was grateful that Christian was so accommodating, and he made it seem like everything was taken care of when I signed the lease at the end of May.<br><br>However, when it came time to move in, the apartment was a mess. It is now two days past our move-in date, and the apartment, which should have been "ready," is actually unfinished -- despite them having more than two months to prepare. They were supposed to do the floors, and the work looks terrible: they got floor varnish all over the granite kitchen countertop, the floors were varnished in sections and have dust and hair embedded in them, and they look as though they were stepped on while still curing.
