The hair braiders were friendly and professional. They don't over charge. I highly recommend this braiding hair salon:)

After an incredibly disappointing experience at another salon, I walked into Get Twisted Hair Studio feeling anxious and honestly close to tears. From the moment I arrived, everything changed.<br><br>The husband and wife who run the salon welcomed me with genuine kindness, warmth, and professionalism. They listened carefully to everything I wanted, respected every request I made about my natural hair, and never once pressured me to use products or techniques I wasn't comfortable with.<br><br>As someone who takes great care of my natural hair, I truly appreciated that they respected my boundaries and treated my hair with patience and care. Every step of the process was explained to me, and I felt listened to instead of dismissed.<br><br>The atmosphere in the salon was calm, friendly, and respectful. While they did a good job with my hair, they lost me when it came time to pay. They don't tell you (which they should) ahead of time that there's a 7% fee for using a debit card. And there's an atm nearby, but at the time I was there it wasn't working but they didn't seem to care. And while 7% seemed like nothing, it really made a difference in what I had to pay and she knew I was on a strict budget which was why I was trying to originally leave but she insisted that she could work with my budget. And then as they're doing my hair they wanted to charge me for having to open a new pack of hair to braid (mind you that should be part of the service). That was all enough for me to not want to go back again. But I can say that the lady who did my hair did do a good job, that's about it.
