This is by far the worst appliance company ever. Do not purchase, I repeat do not purchase any of their products.

First, I'm sorry. This is a long rant, but worth the read if you're considering purchasing a new LG product.
I've been a loyal LG customer for more than fifteen years. I own numerous LG products; refrigerator, washer & dryer, dishwasher, and televisions. I could never understand some of the negative reviews I saw online, until recently.
On April 2nd, 2026 I purchased a brand new 77" LG OLED G5 series TV after a lightning strike fried my previous one. This television is LG's "flagship" and the prices for these models reflect LG's pride.
I justified the cost because movie nights are our primary form of family recreation. The total cost of the television with the extended protection plan was just over $4000. (I know...)
On July 18th, the TV stopped working. I contacted the Best Buy where I bought it and asked for assistance. They directed me to LG due to the unit still being under factory warranty.
When I initially spoke to the LG representative, he asked if I could send so

We have an LG fridge, and the compressor went out. Parts were bad ordered a month. The technician was great. He deems refrigerator unrepairable after we waited nearly a month for a compressor that didn't fix the issue as LG said it needed. The technician wrote in the order that it wasn't repairable but LG still says the paperwork is written wrong. They won't call or email the technician what they need to make it correct. I've talked on the phone with reps who say they see the note but it's apparently in the wrong place and won't replace the fridge. This back cam forth has gone on over two weeks. We are now a month and a half out with no refrigerator. My daughter is chronically ill and has medications that have to be refrigerated. In addition to the food, we lost $28,000 of medication for her. I can't get the next dose because I have nowhere to store them. They're aware of this and still aren't refunding/replacing it as per warranty.

Extremely disappointed with both this TV and LG's response.

I purchased a 77-inch LG C5 OLED directly from LG, and after only a few months of normal household use, a large indentation developed in the panel. It has progressively gotten worse and is clearly visible with the TV OFF and, more importantly, it can also be seen while the TV is ON during normal viewing.

LG sent a technician out, and their conclusion was that this was simply "normal OLED waviness." No repair, no replacement, no meaningful resolution. Essentially, I was told this is normal and something I'm expected to live with.

I completely disagree. I have seen comparable Samsung and Sony OLED TVs, and they do NOT have anything remotely like this visible indentation. Calling a defect this noticeable "normal" on a premium television at this price is unacceptable.

This is not just some minor reflection or cosmetic quirk you only notice when inspecting the screen while it is turned off. The indentati
