  We had been taking our son to this office and seeing Dr. Brito since he was born. Later, we also brought our second child to the practice because we trusted the care we received.<br>At the end of last year, they started not accepting our insurance. We changed our insurance twice, and when I called recently to make an appointment for my son, I explained that if our insurance was not accepted, we were willing to pay out of pocket (self-pay), as we had done before.<br>Unfortunately, they would not even allow us to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was not welcoming or understanding, and I felt very poorly treated. We were simply trying to continue care with a doctor we trusted, and we were willing to pay self-pay if necessary. They would not let us make an appointment, nor schedule one to check whether our insurance would be accepted.<br>I am extremely upset and disappointed with this experience. After years of being patients, I expected much better communication and consideration
