  He did our driveway around 4 years ago and the concrete apron is slowly disintegrating and the asphalt is also starting to crumble I made the mistake of using the least expensive option.<br>I did call and left a message and just as I expected I did not get a call back .<br><br>I did see a ridiculous reply to my review blaming weather for the poor quality work done !<br><br>I hope this helps other people not to get taken advantage of!

While we understand your frustration, we disagree with the suggestion that the condition of the driveway after approximately four years is the result of selecting a lower-priced contractor.<br><br>Asphalt and concrete are subject to wear from weather, traffic, drainage conditions, and normal aging. A driveway that has been in service for four years is well beyond the completion of the original project, and conditions can change significantly over that time.<br><br>We

  We had Ted and crew remove an old driveway (2 car) and install a new double driveway to fit 5 cars.<br><br>His price came in the middle of all the rest. The scheduling was as promised and we are very happy with bigger driveway.

  They came to my house and gave me a quote. Told Ted we would move forward with them and now it's been 2 months. I have tried calling them for a week now and nothing. Completely unreliable

I'm sorry you felt ignored.<br><br>Your estimate was provided in November, which is typically the end of the paving season, and your review was posted in January when asphalt work is generally on hold due to winter weather.   Within a year of having the driveway done I began noticing spots where the gravel base was coming through, cracks forming, different surface textures, and he ramped the sides to make the driveway appear thicker than it was. I attempted to call the office and was able to speak to someone one time who said I'd hear back, and after a week or two I tried calling back for months and received nothing but the voicemail. Finally after asking the referral to reach out to him did he finally<br>stop by to inspect the driveway and stated nothing appeared out of the ordinary except the base coming thru which he offered to fix. It's been months now and still no repair. This company was an enormous disappointment, and has done absolutely nothing to make good on their sub par work. Don't make my mistake, find a different company to do your driveway.<br><br>Update: this company did reach out to me and they did make good on the repairs as well as go over the driveway with another layer of asphalt.   Weiland Construction did an excellent job on our driveway.<br>For years, we could not find anyone who wld share our concerns of repaving. Mr. Ted Weiland came multiple times to understand our concerns, such as drainage and cement repairing, and found ways to resolve the issues. He was sincere, patient and knowledgeable, and his crew led by one of his sons, Jerome, was professional and efficient. Highly recommended.
