  Great bike shop and an obvious favorite when riding 9W. Can't say much for the actual shop experience but I always stop for food and coffee at the end of my ride time prior to heading back to the city.

  My wife surprised me with a Colnago Y1Rs, and the team at Strictly Bicycles made the entire experience unforgettable.<br><br>Radhames was fantastic throughout the process. He took the time to make sure everything was set up perfectly, answered all my questions, and made what could have been an intimidating purchase feel easy and exciting. His attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for cycling really stood out.<br><br>What impressed me most was the atmosphere at Strictly. Everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. It never felt like a transaction. It felt like a group of people who truly love bikes and want their customers to be just as excited as they are.<br><br>The Y1Rs is an incredible bike, but the experience of working with Radhames and the entire Strictly team is what I'll remember most. If you're looking for expertise, outstanding service, and a shop that's genuinely fun to work with, I couldn't recommend Strictly more highly.

  Excellent purchasing experience from start to finish. I honestly found some of the negative reviews surprising. I can't speak to their service or repair experience, but I can share what it was like purchasing a new bike from them.<br><br>The interaction has that classic NY/NJ directness, which I could see rubbing some people the wrong way, but that's just the style (which I personally prefer). I never felt like they were rude. If anything, they were knowledgeable, honest, and extremely helpful.<br><br>For context, I came from a single-speed/track bike background with essentially zero road bike experience. They walked me through the entire purchasing process, did a personalized bike fit, and spent plenty of time covering riding technique, maintenance, and what to expect as I made the transition. At no point did I feel rushed. They spent nearly two hours with me, and I walked out of the shop with an SL9 that I couldn't be happier with.<br><br>In response to some of the comments here: One

  I stopped in to see if they could remove the tires from the wheels of a vintage bike I'm restoring since I didn't have tire levers with me. They were happy to help, and I had the rims back within a couple of minutes.<br><br>When I asked what I owed, I expected that such a quick job--requiring no materials and only a minute or two of labor--would be treated as a courtesy or, at most, incur a nominal charge. While the amount itself wasn't significant, it worked out to an effective labor rate of well over $100 per hour and felt like an arbitrary number chosen on the spot.<br><br>The cost wasn't really the issue; it was the experience. It felt more like a corporate transaction than the kind of service I'd expect from a bike shop that's focused on building long-term customer relationships.

  Looking for a premium bike? Look no further! This shop has an excellent selection, and the staff is both knowledgeable and welcoming. It's also a fantastic spot to meet up with fellow cyclists before tackling 9w or the challenging Bear Mountain route.
