  Nick, one of the owners of Thunder Bay, replaced my roof in April 2026. He did a thorough examination, including climbing onto the roof and taking many photos before preparing a detailed estimate. The estimate was in line with the other estimates I obtained. Nick emphasized transparency and clear communication throughout the project. His crew performed the work professionally and Nick came to my house several times to observe and supervise throughout the day and a half that it took to do a fairly complicated roof with four dormers and an attached porch. At he conclusion of the work, Nick and his crew did an excellent job of cleaning the entire work site. I could not be more satisfied with every aspect of the job.<br><br>But, last week, in mid August, I noticed water leaking from a soffit. I texted Nick and he showed up at my house a few hours later. He inspected the area around the leaking soffit and found it as dry as a bone. We then went inside to look for possible water damage. Nick

  I'd like to tell you about the workmanship... but I presume I'll never know. Thunder Bay contacted me about a project I posted on Thumbtack (?) and, in the course of one day, sent me twelve (I kept them, so I counted) e-mails asking for details/clarifications, and made an appointment to see the project on-site. Then, never showed up, did not call, and did not respond to my e-mail asking what was going on. At least I found out before I signed a contract.

  I can't say enough wonderful things about Nick and his team at Thunder Bay! We had some shingles come off during some high winds in March. Nick quickly came out and did an inspection to ensure we wouldn't get any water damage with the upcoming rain storms. Nick was very knowledgeable and transparent with the work we needed done. Our roof was 20 years old, so we knew we needed a new one. There was no pressure or upselling. Nick listened to what I wanted and made it happen. The pricing was fair and there were multiple payment options. In less than a week, we had a beautiful new roof installed. The work was completed in a single day with no disruption. The crew was on time and very professional. When they were finished, I couldn't tell they had even been there. There were no roofing nails or any debris left behind. They took care of the landscaping and no damage to bushes or flowers. Thank you Nick for your quick response, continous communication and exceptional work. We love our new roof

  I Had work done on multiple homes, roof replacements, chimney had a leak and was patched, soffit, gutters, siding. Very professional work, great communication and fair pricing. Would absolutely recommend.
