    Love summer seasonal sticky cold soba with yam, natto, sprout, spring onions, seaweed, okra, tempura flake.<br><br>Like tonkatsu, udon.<br>Karaage bit saltier than thought.<br><br>Such a reliable place. BYOB.<br>------<br>Summer means soba time. Also grill fish good too. No longer soba crackers. But good to see loyal servers with long tenure. Tall senior Japanese receptionist...<br>Tonkatsu, tempura all presentable.<br>------------<br>Revisit.<br><br>Breakfast menu! Started in April. Yes. Hanami season!<br><br>Love soba, sobayu, fried soba complementary.<br><br>Udon bit soft for me.<br><br>------'<br>Sashimi & tempura with soba the best. Udon nice with curry rice. Tonkatsu good too.<br>---------<br><br>Perfect lunch. Soba with omu kare rice (Thu lunch special), udon w/ donburi, donkatsu. Prices appropriate. Service cordial.<br><br>Note same price for small, medium, large soba...<br><br>Like Manhattan location as well. But, for weekday dine-in, NJ much better.

    The soba noodles are outstanding! Chewy, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The broth and toppings have amazing depth of flavor. You can really taste the quality. This place instantly became one of my favorites.
