  We've had a wonderful experience with Merit Academy. My child has been attending for a while now, and I've really seen a positive difference in both confidence and academic skills. The teachers are patient, supportive, and clearly very experienced. They take the time to explain concepts in a way that children can truly understand, and they encourage students to keep challenging themselves.<br><br>What I appreciate most is how structured and focused the program is. The lessons help build strong foundations in areas like math, reading, and vocabulary, while also helping students develop better study habits. My child actually feels proud of the progress being made, which is something every parent hopes to see.<br><br>The staff is also very kind and communicative, which makes the whole experience feel very supportive for both students and parents. It's clear that they genuinely care about each child's growth and success.<br><br>Overall, we're very happy with our experience at Merit Academy

  Merit Academy has been an exceptional place for my children's academic growth. Merit Academy stands out as a small, community-focused after-school program that offers personalized and effective academic support without the flashy or overwhelming (fear-based) marketing tactics common in many other programs, especially in North Bergen, NJ. Unlike larger, high-pressure institutions, Merit Academy takes a thoughtful, customized approach. The head teacher and owner is highly experienced, personally assessing each student's strengths and areas for growth. She ensures clear communication with parents and tailors recommendations to suit each child's needs.<br>The teaching staff at Merit Academy is equally impressive, with a strong pool of knowledgeable and dedicated educators who work closely with students to foster academic growth.   Both of my kids have been supported by Merit Academy for years. They are obsessed with their math teacher for, most importantly, his teaching, and care. We don't even live nearby but it's worth driving in every week.
