Had a plumbing contractor furnish and install Rheem hybrid electric hot water heater 20 months ago. Fan motor seized up. Contractor wanted $1,500 to replace as dismantling of entire half required! No warranty on labor after year one! A total piece of junk! Avoid at all costs!

Installed an A/C in 2023 Rheem 4T Classic 16 Seer. Today we had to change the capacitor and Motor. Parts under warranty, yet we were charged for labor $1,160.00 We were told that during Covid the company used unqualified people. They call this 'Covid Motor', seemed to have been an issue to many customers. Clearly, after 3 years this should have happened.

DO NOT BUY RHEEM! Terrible products. Multiple leaks and failures over a 5 yr period, horrible customer service, buy carrier or trane instead!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. I have been with out hot water for over a week. The tech only can go by what the person at Rheem watching YouTube says to do and will only send one part at a time with will be another week. Brand new unit never actually been turned on because it won't!
