    This is a lovely spot for a walk or a light hike where you can often see deer and little squirrels. Just a heads-up that there are quite a few ticks, so you'll want to be mindful if you're walking your dog here. For those living in Fort Lee who prefer a dirt path over asphalt, it's also conveniently connected to the north side of the George Washington Bridge, making it a truly relaxing and refreshing escape.

    My kids often accompany me on work trips. We drive along the Palisades and visit historic sites. From the Observatory, I talked about the Hudson River School that was famous for creating a movement of landscape paintings during the 1800s that detailed the view surrounding them.
