  Hiring Lori Aron, Esq. was a HORRIBLE and very costly experience. She had been recommended to me by her sister who said "give her a call". I did so and we spoke for only 10 minutes, some of which was about a family member of hers whom she said she helped. I had a quick question which took no more than 5 minutes to discuss. After which time she demanded I send her $250 as a minimum payment for her time. I said I knew nothing about this and she said she charged a half hour minimum for any minutes of her time, and it was "on her website". I said her sister said I could call her with a quick question, I had not seen her website. She insisted so I paid her $250 for a 5 minute useless answer to my question. Yes, this did happen and I have exactly the correct person. Do not believe her denial. BEWARE. AVOID being scammed and find a different lawyer.

  Our experience with Lori has been nothing short of amazing. She made a really overwhelming process feel manageable by clearly explaining our options and walking us through each step. She was always there when we had questions and made sure we felt supported the whole way through.<br><br>What meant the most to us was how much she genuinely cared about our child's future. Thanks to her hard work and persistence, my son was able to get his OOD placement without us having to go through due process or mediation.   Working with Lori was great. We have nothing but positive feedback of our experience over the past year. Besides the positive online reviews, we appreciated her assurance that she had the capacity/bandwidth before accepting us as a new client and were comforted in knowing that the service she provided would remain consistent and not suffer down the road. Lori far exceeded our expectations with her responsiveness. She promptly returned all emails, and was available, even after hours, for a phone call to help walk us through the rationale for recommended actions and instructions when an urgent situation arose. The legal process is incredibly complex and having Lori help guide us along the way allowed us to make educated and informed decisions that will hopefully lead to the best outcome for our son.
