THE R CHILD STEAM Center in Fort Lee, NJ offers Montessori-based early childhood programs for kids ages 0-4 and advanced Tech Education for ages 4-16. For our youngest learners, we provide Montessori classes that nurture creativity, social skills, and early development - including early science and STEM exploration to build a strong foundation from the start. For school-age children and teens, our STEM-accredited tech program includes LEGO and VEX IQ Robotics, coding with Java, Python, game design with Minecraft, Drone piloting and coding, 3D printing, and more. Students build real-world skills with opportunities to compete in State, National and International competitions such as FIRST, VEX Robotics, Aerial Drone Competitions, Science Bee,

If you are looking for a Science/Stem based camp that includes programming and robotics for your child, this is it! This is the second year my daughter has done this summer camp and she loves it. The material they cover varies week to week and she comes home with new stories and facts every day! From building space rovers to Lego animals that are programmed to move, it's a new exciting experience every day. I recommend this camp to all my mom friends, especially those looking for a science based camp. The director/admin are great communicators and are very organized! We look forward to using them next year as well!

The R Child is an incredible place for kids. They pack serious learning into everything they do, to ensure that kids aren't just engaged, but learning the why behind everything. Our son has absolutely loved the classes he's taken here and is applying all of the things he's learning to his tinkering and building at home. It's a very inclusive place, where everyone is welcomed and met where they are at when they start. If you have a kid into building, tinkering, robotics, coding, etc, this is the spot for you. We are so happy that we found The R Child!
