  Many years ago I had a terrible experience with American Irrigation Systems. They were remarkably disrespectful around its dysfunction. Eventually we learned that they had used clamps on water pipes that failed and rather than sprinkling outside in the garden the pipes were leaking and spraying inside the mechanical room. They did repair the system once they figured out what was happening. At the time I had a housekeeper/babysitter at our home who described them as "dumb and dumer". I found the owner rude until he figured it out.

  -Stopped responding and never fixed the problem- I called American Irrigation Systems to diagnose and fix pressure issues related to certain zones in my sprinkler system not properly closing. After two visits where they 'cleaned' the valves, the problem was never resolved for more than 24 hours and now they won't call me back. I called twice and was told the Service/Operations Manager would call me back ... never heard from them again. $850 later they never solved the problem, never provided a quote for new valves and lost a customer. Would not recommend.<br>**In response to the owner's message to my original post - this is the correct company in Ridgefield, CT. Thanks for the nickname though - Bozo was a great clown. I do need to fix this, so updating my review to confirm this was the correct company. I have the receipt if you need a copy. Appreciate it.

  Just stumbled on this . So there are two American Irrigation companies in Connecticut. We are about 40 miles apart . This person is posting a review on the wrong company site . <br>Kinda wondering about the validity of the complaint. Thanks for the negative review on the wrong company you bozo. You need to fix this .

  I have been with American Irrigation Systems for several years now, after the installation and for yearly open/close services. Recently I had a small issue and Edwin offered a quick and very reasonable solution. This is a very high quality company and I cannot say enough about how they work with customers, highly recommended. Charles

  I highly recommend American Irrigation Systems. They are responsive to phone calls and I was able to schedule service with ease. Their technician Terry is truly exceptional. He was very thorough in diagnosing and fixing problems in our system. I really appreciated the time he spent with me answering my questions and addressing any concerns. A professional and top notch business.

  I had an irrigation system installed This summer and I just wanted to say that I had an amazing experience with this local Ridgefield company. From day one when Matt came to go over the property he explained everything in detail and answered all my questions very patiently and always made sure that I was satisfied with every step of the way. The installers are also very professional and very hard-working and very respectful especially during Covid. Everyone wore a mask and kept their distance and Matt supervised the installation. In addition to that John and Terry who work in the office and monitor Hydrawise system (New irrigation app and control) are amazing when you call them to ask a question and they stay on top of things and follow through with any questions you have. John and Terry also came personally To explain how the system works to my husband and were very friendly, professional, and patient.
