  I enrolled in this HVAC training program in 2024 and was expecting a structured course, real hands-on experience, but unfortunately the program was oversold and underdelivered. Classes were often short, unstructured, and followed by long idle periods with little instruction, while promised labs and training equipment were never fully utilized. Many assignments went ungraded, hands-on learning was minimal, and the exam process was poorly organized. The lack of professionalism--including extended lunch breaks, constant cell phone use, and telling students to "look busy"--made it clear this was not the quality HVAC education I was promised. For future students, I strongly recommend getting everything in writing before enrolling so you are not misled by empty promises, and to carefully research other HVAC schools that provide real hands-on training, structure, and value. Don't be misled by the new building gimmick! The equipment in the shop is for display purposes only.

  Outstanding HVAC Education - A Strong Foundation for Success<br><br>I graduated from Bergen County Technical School in Hackensack in 2013, and I can confidently say that the education I received there set me up for success in my HVAC career. The hands-on training, knowledgeable instructors (Mr. Uma), and real-world application of skills gave me a strong foundation that I've built upon throughout the years.<br><br>Now, as a Regional Trainer in the HVAC industry, I see firsthand how crucial solid technical education is for career growth. BCTS provided me with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to excel in the field.
