  We didn't have a great experience with our daughter's ballet class. The main teacher was great, but they had random people teaching for 3 out of the semester classes. Once, it was someone who sat behind the front desk... they also charge for the recital, costume and overall, just felt very gimicky to us. I think my daughter also didn't learn very much so we will not be returning.

  We attended a class here for our baby. The class itself was quite nice, but unfortunately, our overall experience was ruined by some inconsiderate parents.<br><br>After our 45 mins class, we tried to leave the parking lot, but one car had parked so close behind us that we couldn't move our car at all. When we went to find the owner, the driver's seat was empty, and a woman nearby was on the phone. When the driver finally came out, he was extremely rude and claimed that he had "waited forever," so he decided to leave his car there while attending his baby's class.<br><br>At that time (around 10 a.m.), the parking lot was nearly empty. We politely suggested that he could have just parked elsewhere since there were plenty of open spots and that his "wait" was unnecessary. Instead of understanding, he yelled at us -- yes, yelled -- insisting he wanted that exact spot and started cursing at us.<br><br>As parents who were also just attending a class, we felt extremely uncomfortable and angry

  Unfortunately, my experience with their ballet program was disappointing. Communication was poor, and key information wasn't shared in a timely manner, leading to confusion and avoidable issues. I had expected a higher level of professionalism and consideration.<br><br>The environment also lacks diversity and doesn't foster a strong sense of inclusion. The young woman at the front desk came across as rude and disengaged--whether intentional or not, it added to the discomfort.<br><br>Also, be warned: if you're even a minute late, they will not watch your kid.<br><br>I hope they take these concerns seriously and make improvements so future families have a more welcoming and respectful experience.

  This academy only cares about money and doesn't have a proper system. The staff is unfriendly and gives insincere answers to requests or questions. They almost never respond. There are no other ballet schools nearby, so I had no choice but to go there. I will never go again. I definitely do not recommend here.

  My two daughters and I have been attending Edgewater Performing arts for a few years now. I have to say I am very glad I chose this ballet school. All of the teachers and staff share an enthusiasm for ballet and it truly shows in their attention to detail, love of dance, and dedication to teaching. I love ballet because it is physically challenging while being beautiful and freeing all at the same time. I feel the discipline, emotional and physical strength that one can attain with ballet is translatable across many facets of life. Ballet has been a huge part of my life growing up and I am so happy to provide the same experience for my daughters. If you are looking for an excellent ballet school, you've landed in the right place!
