  I have everything positive to say about the doctor. When no other shrinks had the guts to take me off a drug that I hadn't needed in years, this doctor succeeded in doing so by very careful titration.

  Dr. Paltrowitz has been my children's treating clinician for several years. He listens to my concerns with respect, offering practical advice, and I deeply appreciate his guidance. It means a lot to me to know that my children are under the care of a highly skilled and competent professional. I appreciate the role Dr. Paltrowitz has in my children's well being. I trust him implicitly as he has a wealth of knowledge and is consistently respectful of my beliefs and my decisions. As a parent, there is nothing more important than having the very best for my children.

  I first came to Dr. Paltrowitz when I was 17 after years of seeing other psychiatrists and dr's who failed to help me. I left my first appointment with him in tears because I had never felt so seen and understood before. He is extremely intelligent but also direct which may come across to others as dismissive, but he is truly one of the best around.

  Unfortunately I have nothing positive to say about this Doctor. I have 3 children with special needs. Ranging from Bi-Polar disorder to ADHD. I have had the opportunity over the past 20 years to work with some of the best Pediatric Psyco pharmacologists in the country. I found Dr. Paltrowitz arrogant and dismissive at best and incredibly unavailable. My family is used to dealing with children with special needs and therefore not over sensitive when it comes to the trials and tribulations that are part of the process especially when dealing with medications. I believe that he is simply selective as to who he wants to treat and rather dismissive and somewhat speedy in diagnosis. You get the sense that it's a in and out psychiatric factory. I would not recommend him when there are many drs in his field that give you a better feeling of concern, which is essential when you are dealing with parents of little children.<br>My Daughter is 5 years old and prescribed medications by this Dr. and

  Dr palkowitz changed my life after all these text book non educated horrific other doc ...I'm not judging only sharing my experience but I have to say bedside manners carefully 5plus stars and learning not to be afraid to see a doctor that feels like a family member... anybody that is great need of help I come from about an hour away and I have to say it's well worth it in many many ways many many many tens all the way!!!!
