  BUYER BEWARE! Do not purchase the GUARDSMAN insurance from Ethan Allen! Although I purchased all of my furniture for my condominium from Ethan, Allen Guardsman did not cover any of the damage on two pieces that were purchased less than five years ago. To add insult to injury Ethan Allen did not make good on these pieces either. Ethan Allen offers the insurance under the assumption that if anything is damaged, it will be replaced or fixed. It is not true... It is just a ploy to spend extra money. I have an ottoman that faded that is less than five years old that is not in direct sunlight. I live alone and have an occasional visitor here and there. Neither Guardsman or Ethan Allen would even look at the piece even though I spent $1000 on it. Both companies are a big disappointment. You are better off purchasing furniture at Raymour and Flanigan - their prices are better and they aim for customer satisfaction.

  I first met Cheryl when I moved to Bergen County almost 6 years ago. She has helped me tremendously with decorating my home. We are still working together! The owner is also wonderful and so accommodating. Recently, a mirror I ordered was left out of a delivery. He drove it to my home himself early one morning. It was so appreciated. The selection is beautiful and they are a pleasure to work with.

  I bought the Loyola Secretary Desk for over $ 2,300.00. The soft-close brackets/hinges broke right away (production issues and not because of use) and it is almost a year that they say replacements are coming in every single month and surprisingly are not in the container 1) the item comes from overseas (Indonesia), to pass customs they have an invoice. Item not being shipped is known well before its arrival date but they like to make fun of customer, like we are all idiots. 2) after almost a year of me not being able to use the piece of furniture as a Secretary and paid top dollars for something that I could have bought from Pier one import, if still open for half the price, they haven't found or even shown any interest in solving the problem. They just say end of the month to the next and next and so on. Pleas be aware of quality and customer service. It is not what this old time American brand was. Shop elsewhere for better prices equaling quality.

  Using a photo I sent, the designer was able to use a computer program to create a mock photo of the item I was looking for in our room. She was able to have the carpet samples prepared ahead of time as well. The process of making my decision was so easy because of her expertise. When the products were delivered they looked perfect! The quality is beautiful.

  Purchased a sofa and chairs at the Paramus store. Cheryl the sale person was pleasant, patient and professional. She always responded to emails and returned calls to clarify any concerns I had. Delivery went smoothly. Thank you for your excellent customer service.

  Several months ago I decided to update my living room after years of wear and tear from active kids and curious cats. Suffice it to say, it was long overdue. I am so pleased that I inquired about Ethan Allen's design services and even more pleased that I worked with an exceptional designer, Robin Friedman. She immediately understood my style/taste and provided design choices that made the process so easy and fun! Thanks to her expertise and guidance, my living room looks spectacular! I cannot wait to work with Robin again! Kids and cats give the updated living room two thumbs/ paws up!
