  I had to drop off my vehicle for repairs after it broke down on Route 80. I was offered towing assistance through the 1-800-PEPBOYS number, which made the process much easier.<br><br>After the technician diagnosed my vehicle, he found that the alternator was failing along with a small electrical issue. The team kept me updated throughout the entire repair process, and I was able to get my car back the same day.<br><br>Thank you to the manager and his entire team for the great service, communication, and quick turnaround. I really appreciate the professionalism and help during a stressful situation. Highly recommend

  Very good service! I would recommend them to anyone in the area. The waiting area was clean and modern, and the service was efficient, fast, and reliable.<br>Caesar and Griselda were extremely helptul. I usually go to a family mechanic, but they were unable to resolve some issues I was having. I came in with problems involving my control arms, stuck bolts, TPMS sensors, and an alignment.<br>They were able to get everything fixed in just a few hours!<br>The car drives great now, and I'm no longer hearing the loud noise I was experiencing before. Very happy with the service. Thank you, to the team of mechanics in the back and Caesar and Griselda!

  I had purchased four tires from this location. They supposedly price match with BJ's club including road hazard as BJ's tire price includes road hazard. Later on when I needed to use road hazard warranty, I was told that road hazard is not included on my purchase.

  Update: I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any major repairs at Pep Boys.<br><br>I brought my car in because of a rattling noise underneath. After they looked at it, I was told the problem involved my catalytic converter and bolts, and I was given the impression that I was looking at a repair costing around $1,200.<br><br>Thankfully, I did NOT authorize the repair and took my car to an independent mechanic for a second opinion. He inspected it and found that my catalytic converter was fine. The rattling was coming from a loose bracket. He fixed it for $50, and the rattling is completely gone.<br><br>Going from being told I potentially needed around $1,200 worth of work to having the actual problem fixed for $50 is an enormous difference. Whether this was a bad diagnosis or an attempt to sell me work I didn't need, either way it completely destroyed my confidence in this location.<br><br>I'm extremely disappointed because customers rely on mechanics t

  Been to this location several times always efficient service and they work with you based on what you can affford. Concise about what's going wrong. But, today wasn't that day. Was at the location for 4.5 hours for front and rear brake and rotor change. In my circumstances there was a mix up with a brake pad supplier and then a bolt that was stuck but then be honest with the estimated time.<br><br>As customers we pay the hourly labor price for both the level of skill and the time efficiency of it. If something takes so long what's the point of paying so damn much.
