  In July 2024, when my son decided that he wanted to pursue art school for college, I reached out to friends from church and collected the phone numbers of a few art teachers. I planned to call each one and explore our options. The first place I visited was here, NUART. After meeting with Ms. Ryoo (Jiji) for the first time, I knew that she was the teacher I wanted my son to learn from. I didn't feel the need to call to other teachers any more.<br><br>During our first meeting, which lasted over an hour, I could immediately sense that she was incredibly intelligent, goal-oriented, and full of passion. My son began classes on that day, and now, more than a year and a half later, he has become a completely different person.<br><br>At the time, although he had decided to pursue art, he had almost no foundation. Even though he had been a part of GT art in his school during the elementary and middle school, he had never attended a proper art academy before, and didn't know where or how to begi

  The teacher is incredible at teaching and is passionate about what she teaches. She works with each students very well depending on their level and art style and is very respectful.   If you or your child need assistance in pursuing their dreams, NUART will be the stepping stone to make those dreams come true.<br>With Jiji's dedicated guidance, my daughter was able to create a strong portfolio in a short amount of time and was thrilled to be accepted into multiple schools, including Parsons School of Design, for a fashion major.<br><br>Jiji was more than just an art teacher; she was a strict mentor and, at times, a friend.<br>Thanks to her dedicated guidance and genuine care for each student, my daughter cherishes the time she spent preparing her portfolio as a valuable and meaningful experience.
