My 6 year old has been attending ballet at SJ ballet in Fort Lee since Sept '23 and she has improved so much in skill and focus, and I am grateful to Ms SJ;she is an enthusiastic and caring and professional teacher for being able to cater and respond to each child based on their individual skill set. Patient and works so well with kids and older talents as well. She makes the class fun and inclusive so no child feels intimidated or shamed. I knew that this was the right studio for my kid when I spoke with the teacher in the beginning about my concerns (I had a trial class with a different ballet studio in Fort lee and had a poor experience) and she was empathic and understanding about my child's tendency to get distracted or nervous in the beginning of any endeavor . A different studio had treated my child poorly in a trial class and I was concerned that it would turn my kid off to ballet. However SJ did such a great job from day 1 and very quickly my child became a focused and attenti

Both my daughters took the ballet class here over a year and they loved it so much. Instructor SJ is very enthusiastic and truly cares about children. Recommend this place if your child wants to try ballet.
