Donald and AnnMarie did an amazing job helping me and my family navigate a very difficult experience. The loss of a loved one can be hard, but they helped with every step of the way. They were very quick and responsive with helping us get prepared for the viewing and their compassion and empathy were unmatched. Donald was very patient and kind with both of my elderly parents and Annmarie did a wonderful job making my younger sister look absolutely beautiful. Thank you both for helping us through a very painful time.

I cannot express enough gratitude to the team at Vorhees-Ingwersen Funeral Home for their support during my mother's wake. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. As someone who is naturally very detail-oriented, it was a profound relief to be able to trust Donald and Annemarie completely--I knew every element was in capable hands. I simply provided the photos, collage boards, video, and mementos, and they handled the rest beautifully. No detail was spared, from the thoughtful placement of flowers to the soothing atmosphere created by the music. I was especially touched by the stunning remembrance guestbook and prayer card suite featuring Mom's photos, the website obituary link; it is a keepsake our family will treasure forever. Because of their meticulous logistics and genuine compassion, I was able to focus entirely on my family and friends. Excellent Experience. Don and Annmarie were very professional and caring - they paid attention to every detail. I did not have to worry about anything and the wake and funeral were flawless. The funeral home was immaculate and smelled great. My brother's face looked very natural and refreshed after a long battle with cancer. Voorhees was very comforting in a time of such grief of a loved one. Highly recommend

The loss of a loved one brings immense waves of emotions and one of the hardest moments was planning what we knew were our final goodbyes, laying our dad, our Ma's husband, to rest. The staff and team at Vorhess-Ingwersem Funeral Home were exceptional at the care and comfort of our family. They were patient and understanding and made this transition of life in loss smoother than expected. While not personally knowing our loved one, they put into words the most beautiful obituary and mementos to help hold the memory of our dad for not just us but all who've known and loved him throughout Ridgefield Park. Our biggest gratitude to all involved in the planning and three day execution of laying Raul Ortiz Sr, our Old Man, to rest. <3

On top of the tremendous grief that comes with the loss of a wife/mother, handling the final arrangements can be a tremendous weight. Thanks to Donald and Annmarie that weight was much easier to bear. I cannot find enough amazing things to say about Donald and Annmarie at Voorhees funeral home. I was very impressed with how they walked us through the funeral arrangement process carefully and very patiently. The service itself was beautiful and respectful. Very appreciative and grateful for the care that this funeral home took when planning the services for my mother. Donald and his team were very professional, courteous, and helpful during an emotional time for me and my family. They took care of every little detail and created a warm and loving space for our family to pay their respects. They were always quick to respond for any questions I had, would definitely recommend.
