The Hackensack River Pathway is a relaxing place for a walk, especially if you're looking to stay local and enjoy some fresh air. The path itself is easy to follow, and I was able to enjoy it with my 5-year-old, we even discovered a small playground behind the old Sears building, which was a fun surprise for her. Parking can be a little tricky depending on where you enter. If you use Google Maps, it directs you to the start of the path, but that entrance is blocked off due to construction, and nearby lots are marked for tenants only. Just something to keep in mind when planning your visit. While the pathway could use a bit of upkeep, it's still a peaceful spot to stretch your legs and spend some time by the water.
