This review is LONG overdue because I've been coming to Villa de Colombia for probably over 20 years at this point! Hands down, it's one of my favorite Colombian restaurants in the area--and that's saying a lot because we have no shortage of great Colombian restaurants around here.<br><br>Their empanadas are seriously the best. I've tried empanadas from so many different places and none compare. I order them all the time for parties and gatherings, and they're always a hit with everyone.<br><br>The food overall is consistently delicious and has kept me coming back for more than two decades. Anyone who knows me knows that when someone asks where to get the best Colombian food in the area, my answer is always Villa de Colombia. After all these years, I figured it was finally time I gave them the review they deserve!

1 star<br><br>I called Villa de Colombia to place a takeout order and specifically requested utensils and chopped morcilla. When I arrived at my destination and opened the order, the morcilla was whole and there were no utensils included.<br><br>I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake. The woman who answered the phone told me that, according to a law, utensils have to be requested in person. That explanation was disappointing, especially since I had specifically requested utensils when placing my order by phone.<br><br>I understand and support the purpose of New Jersey's new regulations regarding disposable utensils, but if a customer specifically requests them, the request should be handled properly or the customer should be clearly informed when picking up the order.<br><br>The bigger issue for me is that both things I specifically requested were not done, and instead of simply acknowledging the mistake, I was given an explanation about the law that did not address
