Born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1967, I displayed a creative curiosity from an extremely young age. My passion has persisted, evident in creating wildly vibrant and playful landscape paintings. My style is dominated by the cityscapes and landscapes that burst from his canvasses, emitting an authenticity all their own. My work is post-impressionist, with Van Gogh and Monet touches sprinkled throughout yet completely reimagined. It is the very juxtaposition between city life and the beauty found within every nook that creates the construct for Kappmeier 's tiny expressionistic specs that explode onto the canvas.

A very good friend of mine surprise me with this amazing Lamborghini painting for my home office. Truly my favorite car on the road. This painting is so unique I can't stop looking at the movement of the paint. Thank you Chris for this beautiful masterpiece!!

Chris donated not one but FIVE pieces of his beautiful art to our ACS silent auction. His art is absolutely breathtaking. Chris and Jonny were a pleasure to work with. They made the whole process easy and even dropped off the art to our NYC office. Their interest and participation in philanthropy is admirable. Amazing people & amazing art. Chris is an amazing artist! My family and I have worked with him for many years and have many pieces of his. We've gotten custom pieces such as, a portrait of our house & our favorite pizza place. They always bring great memories and are great conversation starters. Not to mention his cherry blossom pieces!

I have a couple pieces of Chris Kappmeier's work in my home including the gorgeous painting of my favorite animal and it always catches my guests' eye! The layering of paint and the vibrancy of the hues are absolutely beautiful and are executed perfectly to convey a beautiful image on canvas. Kappmeier's work is immaculate, and you can tell just how much love and passion lies within every brush stroke of his artwork, not to mention his credentials speak for themselves. Kappmeier's work can best be described as Contemporary American Impressionism. Thick applications of paint give so much life to the canvas.<br><br>Amazing talent, and absolutely love my 1 of 1 Superman piece.
