  I came here seeking help... If I could give this organization a 0 I would.... something is completely off with the case manager... She has 0 empathy and 0 compassion and when I speak to her over the phone she is cold as ice and I feel like she deliberately is trying to jeopardize my case... Ask if they had other services aside from counciling and energy bill over a month a go and since I am already in therapy somewhere else and .. she said no they didn't have other services .. This was a month ago.. she told me face to face that they had no other services...now when I emailed her ...she said something totally different... I am not the only one who think something is off...she responds late in the afternoon or at the end of the week...this place is called healing space not trauma experience... However their hotline therapist are great... And I give them a 5 star but please hire people with empathy.. especially case manager...and someone who will help or is willing to at least try to hel

  So far, my experience has been very disappointed after being referred to this agency in helping find women network connections. I was assigned a case manager who delay responding to my emails and send me last minute responses for selecting an appointment for the following that I have already set appointments.<br><br>Then, I requested another selection of appointment without hearing from this case manager yet in a timely fashion. Most likely this person will wait til the end of the week to send an email asking to schedule on another day.<br><br>I think it's time to move on to another agency for help in business.

  I wish I could recommend this place to others seeking a SAFE space to find trustworthy compassionate counselors who expect clients to share the most intimate experiences of their lives, to find genuine advocates, to have a case worker who makes the slightest attempt to do their own job and fulfill their responsibilities for those of us in dire need of the services they're hired to provide. Unfortunately that was NOT my experience after years with Healing Space. At first I had appointments every other week, I believe, then once a week which seemed helpful at the time. My counselor was nice enough and validating until she wasn't. This experience taught me to quit seeking external validation. She came off as well versed in basic trauma responses but she wasn't nor did she offer any new observations or exercises. She asked what my treatment goals were years later... I told her working on self esteem was most important for any healing. She was never interested in working through helpful boo

  This place saves lives. They have male survivors groups as well as women's. There is access to trauma therapy as well.
