Good prices and good, old-fashioned Korean comfort food. There is only one side dish--kimchi--but it is so delicious that it is more than enough to complement the food they serve. The prices are higher than I remember, but it is still cheap and affordable. They are also open 24/7, which is especially helpful for tired and jet-lagged travelers who want to eat at any time.

I came here feeling completely drained, and a bowl of their seolleongtang brought me right back to life. The broth tastes like a grandmother spent days brewing it--pure comfort in a bowl. Their homemade kimchi is incredible, and the staff made me feel right at home. Gammeeok is officially my go-to spot when I need a hug in food form.
