  Had a wonderful experience at Sparta Taverna in Ridgefield Park. This is exactly the kind of Greek restaurant I love--casual, welcoming, and focused on hearty food that feels homemade. There's a great variety on the menu, from gyros and souvlaki to moussaka, pastichio, spanakopita, seafood, and classic Greek appetizers.<br><br>Everything was flavorful and satisfying, and the portions are generous. I also really liked the comfortable, family-style atmosphere. It feels like a neighborhood restaurant where you can come in, relax, and enjoy a proper meal.<br><br>The owner was a pleasure to talk to, and I really enjoyed our conversation. You can tell there's genuine pride in the restaurant and in creating a place where customers feel welcome.<br><br>Overall, Sparta Taverna is a great local Greek spot in Ridgefield Park. Good food, generous portions, a relaxed atmosphere, and genuinely friendly hospitality. Definitely worth checking out!

  Worst experience ever.<br><br>We placed an order through Uber Eats, and apparently the restaurant gave our food to the wrong driver. When our actual driver arrived, there was no food left to pick up.<br><br>Instead of taking responsibility or trying to fix the situation, the restaurant blamed us and told us we would have to place ANOTHER order so they could get paid again. How is it the customer's responsibility when the restaurant handed the order to the wrong person?<br><br>We asked to speak with a manager and were told there was no manager available. We asked them to contact Uber Eats, and they claimed they had no way to contact Uber either.<br><br>Meanwhile, my wife is 9 months pregnant, we're waiting for our dinner, and instead of showing even a little understanding or trying to find a solution, they basically told us to pay again for their mistake.<br><br>Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Mistakes happen, but the way you handle them says everything about a business.<br>We
