  I had been an audiology patient of Deborah Marcus a number of years ago but left her practice when I moved from Teaneck to Fort Lee. I followed up with two other audiologists, both of whom left quite a bit to be desired. As my hearing still was not as great as I thought it should be, I returned to her and am quite determined to stay with her for life. She is patient and understands my hearing problem and has already helped me get back a good deal of the hearing that her predecessors were not helping me obtain. I had asked on Facebook who was the best audiologist in Bergen County and time after time--nearly ten times--Debbie's name came up. If I could give her TEN stars, I would!!!

  I am an older woman and I go to a lot of doctors.I always find Dr. Marcus to be incredibly patient, kind and understanding. She is very thorough with her hearing testing. She asks all the right questions and gives you time to ask as many questions as you need to so that she knows you are satisfied. Wearing hearing aids and having hearing problems is no small thing, but she makes you so comfortable going forward,<br>Thank you Dr. Marcus!

  Dr. Marcus is undoubtedly the best audiologist I have ever met.<br>She takes time to listen to her patients with a compassionate and thorough understanding of their needs--a holistic approach. I was able to ask questions about my care, questions that were answered with dedication and insight. My hearing issues are complicated, yet always addressed with an extremely comprehensive knowledge of broader medical issues. That is so vital for my health. As a person with a disability, I was also assisted with the provision of cutting-edge technology that will help me in my workplace and may literally change my life.<br>"Above and beyond" dedication is the dimension of this practice that stood out to me immediately. Each patient is treated with respect and dignity as an individual. I could not recommend any physician more highly!

  Who usually needs hearing aids? Every one who has trouble hearing, usually older people.<br>Who noticed my hearing problem? Everyone and I mean everyone.<br>I am 89 years young. I have been to four audiologists and most of them just wanted to sell me a hearing aid after a simple hearing test. I was always disappointed.<br>Then my son told me about an audiologist that his partner's mother went to see and was very happy with her.<br>Quite frankly, because of my previous experiences I resisted for many, many months.<br>Finally after enough pestering by my family I decided to go see her. Her name is Debra Orlan-Marcus of Audiology Associates, in Teaneck, New Jersey.<br>This audiologist actually took the time to listen to my concerns and was very patient with me.<br>She performed an extremely thorough and careful examination.
