  Medical team was very helpful and understanding, and took the time to actually investigate what was going on and communicate my testing/treatment options to me. Dr Glaser was super helpful and encouraged me to return if I needed to, listened to my concerns, and was honest about her opinions on what was more vs less likely to work. As with all ERs, pray to God it stays quiet until you're discharged. When I came in all was fine and everything was surprisingly speedy--they inserted the IV, took my blood, dr saw me, tests were ordered and completed all in about 1.5 hours, which was really great. Then things picked up and the process of getting discharged, getting pain meds, and getting my IV removed took about 2 hours. I was maybe 3 minutes away from pulling out my own IV and running for the hills. But that's not the staff's fault; that's just how ERs work. A lot of the reviewers here seem to be under the impression that ERs should be expected to only receive a limited number of emergencie

  Very efficient staff.<br>Excellent safety measures.<br>Comfortable waiting areas.<br>Well marked signage for multicorridoored hallways.<br>Automatic door openers to assist handicapped.<br>Well ventilated.

  Terrible experience. Save your life and go to another hospital.<br><br>I've always gone to this ER because it's close to home, but after this experience, I'll gladly drive elsewhere next time. I came in with a head laceration after a fall, needed a CT scan and stitches, and still waited over 3.5 hours for treatment and another 45 minutes just to be discharged.<br><br>I respect the nursing profession deeply because I know how hard they work, but the nurses I dealt with were rude, impatient, and completely lacking compassion.

  Mr Edwin Salamanca is an asset to this hospital. I came in with asthma he was awesome and the rest of the staff. First time here and if I ever have to go anywhere I would come here. Thx so much

  I always like going to Englewood for emergencies however this time we left some of our property behind and they told us they cannot find it. Yes, we should check our rooms before checking out, however taking people's property that they leave behind and not returning it to lost and found it's not very professional.
