  This experience happened 10 years ago. I was introduced to a lawyer through a close friend and consulted with him. He assured me that everything would go well and guaranteed success. At that time, my biggest concerns were whether I would win the lawsuit if I filed it, and how much the total lawyer fees would be. He said I could win, and moreover, that the costs would be reasonable.<br><br>However, after actually filing the lawsuit, he demanded absurdly high attorney fees in the beginning and then stopped answering my calls.
