The Carriagehouse was once owned by the first Mayor of Englewood We host Weddings, 1st Birthdays, Special Birthdays, Bridal Showers, We can accommodate up to 100 guests. We have Free parking and a large manicured lawn for on site Ceremonies.

My experience working with Maria McCartney and the Woman's Club of Englewood Carriage House was excellent from beginning to end. Maria was responsive, flexible, resourceful, and incredibly reasonable throughout the planning process. She was always willing to answer questions, provide guidance when needed, and work collaboratively to help make my baby shower a success. In the world of event planning, having a venue representative who is accessible and solution-oriented makes a tremendous difference, and Maria was exactly that.<br><br>The Carriage House itself was the perfect backdrop for my "Butterflies in an Enchanting Garden" themed baby shower. The venue has a charming, elegant character that can be transformed to fit a wide variety of event styles. Our guests loved the atmosphere, and the space photographed beautifully. My wife and I scheduled our baby shower at WCE Carriage House in Englewood for January 25, 2026. Unfortunately, there was an unexpected snowstorm that day. Maria reached out to us asking to either cancel or move the event. Because we had guests flying in and schedules that could not be rearranged, we explained that rescheduling was not an option.<br><br>Maria then suggested canceling the event due to safety concerns, and we agreed because safety should always come first.<br><br>Since the cancellation was initiated on their end, we requested a refund of our $300 deposit and $965 rental fee -- a total of $1,265.<br><br>Since then, communication has been extremely disappointing. We have reached out multiple times via text, phone calls, and email. Maria responded only once, saying she would forward the inquiry to the treasury department. After that, we received no updates, no timeline, and no confirmation of when we will receive our refund.<br><br>The lack of communication is unprofessiona
